i want to humbly make a straight point. it is universally accepted that smoking and drinking are injurious (at least) to health. if at all, there may be some controversy about drinking in moderate amounts, but scientifc evidence on smoking is pretty clear. a positive step could be to agree not to smoke and drink at forum meetings even if only one member has an issue for whatever reason. in case, it is general courtesy to ask if anyone has objection before lighting up.
