Hi again!

I am Shankari (my own name!) and I have loved Sumaner gaan ever since I heard it in 1992. BUT, I have a bit of a disadvantage here as I am not Bengali - do not have all the words though I remember all the words I have picked up over the years. Some of them are very context-specific and so have had to discuss with people staying in Calcutta the significance of those.

Thats why this forum is so special for me.
