Please Read The Proposal

Dear friends,

We see that many friends have many uncommon and rare (unofficial released songs) collection of Kabir Suman. And I found that some of us uploading the official released songs in esnips.com. It’s very good. But some songs already exist in the website. You know Mr. Vubon already uploaded many Suman’s songs in his site. So, we shouldn’t upload Suman’s songs haphazardly. We shouldn’t do one work two times. In the primary stage the rare/live songs should get priority, since they’re easy to forget/lost without proper care. I’ve a modest proposal to friend Aloke and other members that, WE WILL MAKE A COMPLETE DATABASE OF SUMAN’S SONGS (OFFICIAL & UNOFFICIAL RELEASED) PARTICIPATING WITH ALL MEMBERS’ CONTRIBUTION. Then we all together may upload songs chronologically or on basis of demand. Say, firstly friend Aloke would make list of his personal collections of Suman’s live songs. Then another friend would tell his collections which aren’t included Aloke’s list. Then another friend will update the list with his new collection. I wish Kabir Suman will also join with us to enrich ‘LIVE- Kabir Suman’ collection list. In this way we will build one category of Kabir Suman. Then we’ll go to make another category’s list (say Tagore’s songs on Suman’s voice or Suman’s songs on Lopamudra’s voice etc). I believe someday we may have (all most) complete list of Kabir Suman’s songs. I wish it will be a great/important work with less effort. However, it would be an excellent example of team work. I wish friend Aloke will consider my proposal and take initiate to make his list and offer other member to update the list. Well, I’m not telling that it’s complete proposal. You may tell it raw proposal. I wish you’ll update my proposal and give it a matured shape.

But we must be careful about the audio quality of live recordings. I think some screening has to be made as we might be having same song from different members.
Secondly, lyrics of those non-recorded songs has to be archived. Here I think Kabir Suman himself has to edit the draft and okay them.

Dear Friend,

Please upload them as early as possible. I think firstly we should ignore the sound quality. In primary stage we need any kind of songs related with Kabir Suman. After that stage we may sort out them whether alternative better sound quality one is available or not. If any friend have better one or Kabir Suman himself help us it would be best job. Then we may update our collection. Please friend, upload the songs of 'sairener swopno' without any delay. We're waiting for your further notice.
